About
How it all started
Ixchel López has worked all over the West Coast, Southeast, and in her home of O'ahu as a performer, director, model, voiceover actor, teaching artist, writer, and choreographer. She's performed in various venues in different realms of entertainment, including the award-winning Rubicon Theatre Company where she originated the role of Marie in the world premiere of "Hello! My Baby." Ixchel can be seen onscreen in the final season of Hawaii 5-0 as Nurse Therese, n Magnum, P.I. as Leti Reyes (directed by Jay Hernandez), as well as various commercials and campaigns for Hawaiian Telcom, First Hawaiian Bank, Niu Health, and more. She is a producer, writer, director, and performer with the Hawaii Sketch Comedy Festival, and a published model with brands like Route 99, Elle Deluxe, and the PinUps on Tour National Calendar. Ixchel has walked in various fashion shows in Hawai'i and California, including Hawaii Fashion Week and the highly anticipated MAMo Wearable Art Fashion Show.
Not only does Ixchel have a passion for entertainment, but she also has a love for teaching and bringing the arts to young people. She is very proud of her success in creating a theatre program for low-income students at various Boys & Girls Club locations in California, as well as her work as a teaching artist, choreographer, and director with the renowned Springer Theatre Academy in Georgia. She currently works as an instructor at in Honolulu
